Featured Series: Ports of Call Bistro – Southport
Ports of Call Bistro in Southport needed new photos for their website in summer of 2023. It was necessary to capture the ambiance of the place and the food, as well as images of all of the staff members and the owners. In addition, we captured video interviews of key team members explaining more about Ports of Call’s history and their mission — to bring guests “the world on your plate.”
Featured Series: Conner’s Supermarket
Conner’s Supermarket is a Buxton landmark that Cape Hatteras tourists have been visiting since they opened in 1959. For this project, we were partnered with Seaport Webworks, who built their new site. We provided all of the pictures of their team, their grocery store, and the merchandise for the online merch shop. It was important to the owners of Conner’s that we capture all of the employees — from the the store manager to the butcher to the cashiers. On their new website, the photos were accompanied by captions with unique and fun facts about each employee.
Featured Series: Clyde Phillips Seafood
This project was for an article about the iconic Clyde Phillips Seafood in Swansboro, NC. Photos were captured of the owner, his son, and the men who help bring in the delicious seafood to the fish market, as well as longtime friends who just like to come on mornings when the vessel is unloaded to help with processing the catch, as well as to get caught up on life with their buddies.
